Cassie Ortiz is a 16 year old Vocalist/Performer out of Wellington, Florida. Cassie was born in Fairfax, Virginia and relocated with her father to South Florida at a young age. Her journey into Music started during her 10th birthday celebration, her father rented a studio and had a few of her school friends over to “play” record some songs. It was during this birthday event as Cassie sang to Taylor Swift’s, “You Belong with me” that all eyes and mouths were wide open to what we didn’t expect to hear! That was Cassie matching tone, pitch and just doing an amazing job vocally to the song. The Studio Engineer and owner approached her dad about working with Cassie and the rest is now her story of this journey.
Since then Cassie has performed at Florida Children’s Theater in Fort Lauderdale and began taking Voice Lessons under the tutelage of Michael Soper at (MSM) MikeSoperMusic Studios. Shortly after, she signed her first Management/Artist contract with Michael Soper and hasn’t looked back. Cassie has an amazing wide range that covers from alto to soprano. The clarity and tone of her voice make her very special. Cassie’s pitch is perfect and she can sing all genres from Musical Theater to Pop, Rock, R&B and more…She does vocal runs precisely, in the vein of Ariana Grande or Mariah Carey.
She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City after winning first place in the prestigious International Vocal competition for American Protégé. She won “Best Performance” at Carnegie Hall for singing “I Dream a Dream” from the Les Miserable Broadway play. She has competed and won 1st place in several vocal competitions such as, South Florida’s Kids Got Talent, Boca Kids got Talent and Finalist in 2015 for AT&T Young Star Showcase, as well as being invited back in 2016 as part of the “Best of the Best” performance put together for the Young Star Showcase event.
Cassie Ortiz started 2017 with a bang by singing a contract with Posche Models International and is currently working very hard in the studio recording original songs and putting together her performance schedule for 2017 and beyond with her band. Her biggest inspiration is her fans, who she calls #CassCrew!
